Fall 2025 Schedule
October 1 - Season Kickoff: Join us for a charcuterie breakfast, fellowship, and another round of “speedfriending” as we catch up on each other’s summers and simply get to know each other better! There will be other games and a devotion as we turn our gaze towards a new season of Lipstick & Crayons. If you’re new to Petra, we hope you will join us!
October 15 - Crocktober & Candle Decorating: It’s October and CROCKTOBER is back! Come with your favorite crockpot dish to share in your crockpot, along with a copy of the recipe. Perhaps you’ll find your new favorite fall dish! We will also have “candle painting,” led by Kirsten Clemmer, as we create a cozy fall décor item for our homes.
November 5 - Baby Shower for Align Pregnancy Services: Leah McKelvey & Petra’s own Erica Allgyer will share about Align Life Ministries’ mission & vision, the services they provide, as well as ways we can support this ministry. We will be collecting supplies to donate to Align Life as well!
November 19 - Decluttering and Gratitude: Professional organizer, Dawnell Yoder, will be sharing on “Clutter Decline by God’s Design” with an emphasis on gratitude & gratefulness.
December 3 - Lu Ann Wise “Breaking the Superwoman Image”: Many women deal with an inner struggle to ‘do it all’ and ‘do it all well’. We must ask ourselves, like Paul, “Am I now trying to win the approval of men or of God?” Jesus came to end the age of self-effort and we entered the age of grace. Lu Ann will explore seven ways to find rest and be a Super Woman of God.
December 17 - Christmas Brunch – Happy birthday, Jesus! Join us for some good food, fun & games! More details to come!
