The desire of Lifespring Counseling is to release the compassion and wisdom of the Father heart of God into our life circumstances.
We have a variety of counselors and therapists with differing specialties which include personal, marriage and family, and youth, ages 12+.

Ben Dodd

Benjamin S. Dodd holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Eastern University, St. Davids, PA. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and a Nationally Certified Psychologist. He specializes in counseling teens, married couples, and those struggling with depression, anxiety, and sexual addictions. Ben has been married to Marcia for over 20 years and has two beautiful children Silas and Sophia. He is a member of the following professional associations: The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the North American Masters in Psychology (NAMP).

Candace Gudgeon

Candace Gudgeon obtained her Masters of Science in Counseling from Cairn University. Candace specializes in working with those struggling from anxiety and depression as well as life adjustments and relationship issues. She has a heart for helping women reach their God-given protentional in their spiritual, relational, and personal lives. Candace is honored to work in a safe place where people can process the pain of their lives and receive healing through faith-based counseling that meets them where they are in their journey with Christ.

Beverly Hendricks

Bev Hendricks is certified in Family & Marriage Counseling from CCEF/Westminster Seminary. She specializes in working with women and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, marital challenges, and sexual brokenness. She is passionate about her personal relationship with Christ and desires to bring wholeness to those who are hurting. Bev is a widow; she was married for 32 years and served as a longtime (25 years) caregiver to her husband, who suffered from Parkinson’s. She has three adult children and five grandchildren – including two sets of twins – whom she adores. She enjoys friends, hospitality, travel, and her family.

Daniel Jensen

Daniel Jensen is a graduate from Lancaster Bible College & Graduate School with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. Daniel is a licensed professional counselor specializing in helping adolescents and young adults with depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviors, and challenges with life adjustments. Daniel also specializes in marriage counseling and bringing families together through positive and nurturing relationships. Daniel is passionate about seeing children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families thrive in every season of life. Daniel desires to come alongside and support people in any and every situation by providing professional, clinical counseling services from a faith-based perspective.

Wendy King

Wendy King is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College & Graduate School with a Bachelor of Science in Bible, and a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. She specializes in working with women from pre-teen to adults on a variety of subjects, including anxiety, depression, identity issues, sexual brokenness, and marital hardships. Wendy and her husband, Phil, currently reside in the New Holland, PA and enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Grace Martin

Grace Martin is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College & Graduate School with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. She specializes in helping women from pre-teen to adults with depression, anxiety, identity issues, and life adjustments, and in addition women who are experiencing marital struggles. Grace is passionate about coming alongside clients, supporting them, seeing them grow, and has a heart for them to know who they are in Christ. She desires to provide professional, clinical services from a faith-based perspective. Grace resides in the Bowmansville area with her husband, Darrick.

Jean Snyder

Jean Snyder has a Masters of Arts in Community Counseling from Regent University. She is a National Certified Counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Pennsylvania. Jean counsels women in the areas of anxiety, depression, boundaries and balancing of life issues. In addition, she assists parents in building communication skills with their children. Jean offers marriage, group, and individual counseling. She is trained in brain spotting, a non-verbal trauma-processing technique. Her greatest delight is to encourage spiritual growth in her clients. Jean lives with her husband Jay of 40+ years in the Akron area. They have four adult children and four grandchildren.

Christie Werkheiser

Christie Werkheiser is a graduate of Immaculata University, has her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She enjoys working with adults at all stages of life, as well as married couples. Christie specializes in working with women who are dealing with depression, loss, anxiety, life transition, and more. She believes our minds, bodies, and spirits are all critical components to our health, so will focus on a balance of all these while counseling. Christie resides in Mohnton on a small farm with her husband Rick and two children. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family, doing creative DIY projects, renovations at their home, gardening, and traveling.

Tom Wolff

Tom is a graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University) with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Leadership. He completed his M.A. in Counseling at Biblical Theological University (now Missio Seminary). He and his wife, Cindy, have been married for almost 50 years and reside in Thornton, PA. Tom has a passion to see marriages restored and to help men find freedom and transformation through the power of Christ. He has had a private practice for twelve years and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
