Children in Kindergarten through Grade 4 begin at the Summit on the second floor of the Student Life Center. There are pre-service activities and games for kids and leaders to get to know each other. When it is time to start, kids sit with their grade-based class. The service begins with live worship, announcements, a declaration, and a significant group lesson. Our video-based curriculum teaches Biblical truths and uses goofy character sketches to help kids apply the teaching to everyday life.   

After the large group lesson, children are dismissed by grade to their classrooms. In their small group, they share prayer requests, pray for one another, and participate in review activities that reinforce the large group lesson. Activities vary and switch between active physical games and quieter puzzles and papers. When children leave, they receive a take-home paper with the upcoming week's memory verse and Bible content. This is one way we encourage parents to be their children's primary spiritual influencers.
