Middle School Coordinators
Devan & Kristen lead the Middle School Ministry.
Devan and Kristen serve together as the Middle School Coordinators at Petra Church, where they oversee the Middle School ministry and assist the Youth Pastors in leading and discipling students. Both have a deep passion for helping young people grow in their relationship with Jesus and step confidently into lives led by the Holy Spirit.
Devan grew up in the area and began attending Petra Church as a teenager. After serving with YWAM in Australia for several years, where he helped lead outreach and discipleship training teams, he developed a strong heart for raising up the next generation of believers.
Kristen was raised in South Texas and graduated from The University of the Rio Grande with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She also served with YWAM in Toowoomba, Australia, where she completed her discipleship training and later joined staff as a full-time missionary, focusing on worship, prayer, and outreach leadership.
It was during their time serving with YWAM in Australia that Devan and Kristen met. Today, they are passionate about walking alongside middle school students, helping them encounter God and build a strong foundation of faith during these formative years.
