Nacho & Merrilee lead the Young Adults Ministry.
Nacho and Merrilee serve as Youth Pastors at Petra Church and provide leadership for the Young Adults Ministry. Their heart is to see young adults grow into mature followers of Jesus who are rooted in truth, led by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to impact the world around them.
Before coming on staff at Petra Church, Nacho and Merrilee served as missionaries with the Hopewell Network in Thailand, where they ministered to an unreached people group and helped plant a church. Today, they continue supporting that church as non-resident missionaries by coaching and encouraging its leaders.
Nacho brings a passion for mentoring and empowering young leaders, while Merrilee loves walking alongside people in their faith journey and helping them discover God’s truth and purpose for their lives. Together, they long to see a generation that pursues God wholeheartedly and carries His Kingdom into every area of life.
Nacho and Merrilee were married in 2008 and have five children. They enjoy spending time together as a family, traveling, and connecting with people over good conversation and coffee.
