Elementary Coordinator
Erika is our Kingdom Kids Elementary Coordinator! Erika coordinates volunteers, preps materials for each classroom, connects with the teachers, and teaches on Sundays.
Erika accepted Christ when she was in Middle School. At 15, she had a good friend who led her to have a real relationship with the Lord, and in college, her faith became her own. Erika graduated from Shippensburg University with her bachelor’s in Elementary Education. This is also where she met her husband. Before Petra Church, Erika taught 5th grade in the ELANCO School District. She and her husband have 4 boys, and in her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and investing in her family.
Erika has the biggest heart for kids and education. She loves being a vessel for kids to hear the truth in a world that’s throwing lies at them, and she hopes they absorb as much of that truth as possible so they can fully know their identity in Christ!
