Brian is our Lead Pastor here at Petra Church! His role includes carrying out the vision of Petra Church while providing leadership and care to the Elders, Pastors, and Staff.
Pastor Brian assumed Petra Church's Lead Pastor role in January 2021. Prior to that, since August 2019, he served as Associate Pastor. He and his wife, Tracy, also served as the Student Ministries Pastors at Petra Church from 2016 through December 2020.
Brian is originally from Phoenixville, PA. He attended Valley Forge Christian College, now the University of Valley Forge, where he met his wife, Tracy, and graduated with a Bachelor's in Pastoral Counseling. Brian and Tracy got married in 2006 and served in youth ministry for 8 years at a church in New Jersey until they felt God calling them elsewhere. They applied for pastoral positions across the country, and at the final interview for Petra Church, both Brian and Tracy heard from the Holy Spirit that Petra Church is where they are meant to be!
Together, they have 3 kids. Outside of work, Brian enjoys gardening, landscaping, cooking, hunting, and camping with his family. Brian and Tracy are passionate about pointing people to true life in Jesus Christ. Brian's favorite part of Pastoral Care is watching those he disciples finally "get it" and seeing their lifestyle adjust to the new truths they uncover. He is passionate about resourcing people and giving them opportunities to fulfill their God-given purpose!
