WHAT IS THE WAKE?

THE WAKE is Petra’s Young Adult Ministry, serving singles and couples ages 18 to 28. We meet on Thursday nights in the Oasis from 7 to 9 p.m.  A wake is the residual impact, or aftermath, of an object passing though water. It is our desire that our lives would be so in tune with the heart of God that we too would leave a residual impact on the lives of those around us. That’s what THE WAKE is all about!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each Thursday at 7 p.m. we gather in the Atrium Lobby for a while with coffee, giving everyone a chance to catch up, introduce new friends, and connect. We then make our way into the Oasis for worship and a teaching. We end every night with a time to connect one on one in prayer. This has become such an important part of our ministry. After praying we have a light snack and hang out. 

THE WAKE is a place for young adults to connect, care for one another, grow in their faith, find support, and laugh a lot.
