A tithe is a tenth part of anything. It is the first portion of our income, of all we earn, and it belongs to God already. Genesis 28:22; Deuteronomy 26:10,12; Proverbs 3:9-10

6. Tithing is an act of spiritual obedience. Deuteronomy 26:14
   
   
7. Tithing releases God’s covenantal blessing. Deuteronomy 26:15 19; Malachi 3:8-11; Luke 6:38
   
   
8. Tithing provides for the release of ministry in the local church and beyond. Nehemiah 13:10-12; 1 Corinthians 9:9; Acts 28:10
